How did a bat get into my house?

It was an unprovoked attack. The Bulldog has the jaws of an alligator and the hold of a python, according to a website. His owner could not get him off. My dog had to undergo 5 hrs of surgery, as the vet had to insert a drain in her brain. The owner of the attack dog has refused to help with the vet fees. She claims that she does not have a job and stated that my dog bit hers too. Her dog was not hurt, as it had its jaws clasped around my dog's head. What good will it do to call Animal Control and to place an incident report with the police department. I am concerned that this dog will attack another dog or even a baby or another human. House broken into...IMAC, Ipod and Jewelry were stolen.?

On October 15, 2009 my house was broken into they stole our IMac, Ipod and Jewelry. The cops came did a report and no fingerprints were found just footprints of two people with small feet which jumped over the fence to a empty new house next door. Well Apple can't do anything unless the cops call them and give them all the computers numbers which we do have. But anyways today while I was at home I heard the voice of a male outside my window, I looked outside saw the male talking to people; I think the driver was a female, inside a Red 2 door Honda Civic, then he jumped the fence into the empty houses the Honda pulled around the block I got a pen and got the plates: California Plate 6COX990 Or 6CCY990; I wrote it fast I couldn't understand those letter but it is a red Honda Civic. I called 911 gave all them all the info and told them about our house being broken into. I have not heard back from them. So I'm wondering do the cops check the plates and go to the house where they belong? It's weird I see this guy jumping walls with a female driver two weeks after my home is broken into. That is exactly what happens. The tires are cold, and the road surface is cold and holds moisture. Bikes have extremely good traction when its warm and you match or exceed the road temp. But in the cold, traction goes out the window. Sportbike tires are not made for winter driving. they dont have a flat contact surface either. Other than not really liking riding in the cold, that is the main reason I do not ride when its this cold.

The government would basically develop its own government ran oil company. They would drill for oil here in the US and/or off the coast. They would refine the oil to gasoline and then sell it for none profit to various gas stations or distributors at a lower cost. I need to know a formula or algorithm for determining the intersection of a cuboid (defined by its two corners) and a line (defined by a point lying on the line and a vector describing the direction of the line- although a second point lying on the line would obviously be easy to construct) in 3D space. My sister had a miscarriage twice... one at 21 weeks due to an incompetent cervix and the other due to ectopic pregnancy. I am 21 weeks along and my doctor said that an incompetent cervix and ectopic pregnancies are not hereditary. Jaw pops and locks open and kills to close?! Help PLZ!?

So here's the problem. For about a year I've been having it. Whenever I move my jaw or open my mouth, I have this weird thing happen where I hear a popping noise and feel it like, disclocate. I talked to my dentist about it and held my jaw real tight and told me to "make" it happen. I didn't get that for 2 reasons. 1) It just randomly happens. 2) He was holding it so I couldn't. He suggested it was just too much gum-chewing. I thought so too, because I went through a pack of gum in one morning, which about 2-3 sticks in at once (sugarless). I had this habit for 1 1/2 years, which I quit about half a year ago. I haven't had any gum since then (2 sticks or so of sugarless). I had the same popping problem occionaly, and my orthodontist said it was probably from clenching my teeth, which is another of my bad habits. So just recently, it pops anytime I even swallow (a lot). This morning, though, when I got to school, it popped, and I tried closing my mouth, but it wouldn't close (cont.)

Ectopic heartbeat - do you sometimes have them regularly?

I'm 36 and 2 years ago I had my first "attack" of an irregular heartbeat (skips a beat then thuds and you can feel it in your neck). Went to hospital - no problems found. Didn't have it again until 6 months or so ago but a few times. Several weeks ago it reappeared again but once or twice a week 30+ times a day. I went to the docs and she thinks it may be an ectopic beat and I have an appointment in 2 weeks time to have a 24 hour machine put on me (but I don't think this will help as it's not every day). This morning I woke up and it was every 4-5 seconds for about an hour which was very unnerving as it made me catch my breath because my breathing wasn't in sync with my heartbeat. It's now every 20 seconds - 2 mins so not as bad at the moment. Does anyone else have this problem and this regular? I haven't had it this bad before but don't want to panic. I know they say cut back on caffeine etc but I drink 1 cup of coffee a day, don't smoke and rarely drink so I can't think what other pleasure to cut out on and it won't be chocolate! Professional advice and/or advice from people with same problem would be great thanks. I would like to know from a doctor how common this is and if I should go back to the docs again before I have the monitor put on in 2 weeks time?

For the first part you have to see which number is closer to 0 on the number line. Since they are negative numbers you have to pick the smaller number though because that is closer to 0. To find the opposite all that you do is if it is a positive number you turn it into a negative and viseversa. For the last part you just have to solve them. the negative outside of the number means it is the opposite so if it says -(-1) that means 1 because the opposite of -1 is 1. also if it there are numbers in a line that means that it is a positive no matter what. Though what you listed seems to be a decent amount of food, it is obvious you crave more than you eat. You can defintily eat more, with out over eating. I suggest eating 5-6 times a day, 3 meals, and 2-3 snacks. You can make your meals a little bigger if you want. You shouldnt feel the need to binge though. You are probably thinking so much about what you eat, that you crave unhealthy foods, and so you binge on them all at once. Everyday you should allow yourself a little bit of "bad" food. If you do this, you shouldnt feel the need to binge. So my ex pays me child support by hand. He is suppose to go through bill pay through his bank but he never does that. Now when he ddoes hand me a check, he tells that when I cash it it will bounce. We just went to a mediator last week to solve this problem and he said he will go through bill pay. He hasnt and is up to his old tricks. My cat has a double claw coming out of one 'thumb'?

Yesterday upon snuggling my cat, I noticed that she has a double claw(2 separate claws) coming out of her thumb, and it is curled right around and almost touching her paw/skin. She doesn't complain about being in pain at all...doesn't act out of the norm. Is this worth an expensive trip to the vet? Or something she can live with?

At nearly 17 you should be able to go and buy your own shaving equipment. Just takes a razor and shave cream. Wet your face well, then apply shave cream, then shave carefully. Early on you get a lot of nicks and bleed like a pig, but soon catch on.

I definitely prefer a manual transmission because I can shift way faster than any auto ever dreamed of. Plus you change up your driving style any time you want with no issues from the car. The computers on auto s "learn" your driving style and tend to shift/perform to whats in its memory and if you normally try to be speedracer and then one day want to take it easy the shift points are gonna be at higher rpms and hard shifts as well, whereas manual trans' are under your control only.
