Math problems please help?

For the first part you have to see which number is closer to 0 on the number line. Since they are negative numbers you have to pick the smaller number though because that is closer to 0. To find the opposite all that you do is if it is a positive number you turn it into a negative and viseversa. For the last part you just have to solve them. the negative outside of the number means it is the opposite so if it says -(-1) that means 1 because the opposite of -1 is 1. also if it there are numbers in a line that means that it is a positive no matter what. That is known as absolute Value.
