Do you think that anticipation is better than what actually occurs?

I am always disappointed with the answers after I am waiting in anticipation of them, but that is my wanting to control the universe. Anticipation has the advantage of being mental whereas the results of a situation are actual. In the long run, actual is better than a power trip, but tell that to my crazy brain.
