Is the USA's political system too convoluted to ever be fixed?

We could fix it if we really wanted to. You'd have to start by not just voting for Republicans and Democrats. To be honest the 30 and under crowd may have the best chance to fix it IF THEY'D VOTE. The reason I say that is because they aren't as set in their ways yet. They aren't as likely to just go vote straight ticket, which is one of the biggest issues. You need to look at the candidates and decide who really represents you and the people. That is the one you need to vote for. We get too many single issue voters, and sometimes that issue is the D or R. If you want to be OF the people then the People need to use the power they have. They need to MAKE PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE. Some politician screws up you vote him out, it isn't that they are unaccountable it is that no one will hold them accountable.
