Do you find it strange that the moon does not have a rotation?

Does it kinda make you wonder why according to scientists every other celestial body in the solar system was created by a spinning motion that generated a gravitational pull, bringing matter in towards the center and compounding it until a planet was formed? Or do you honestly believe that trash that the "moon" was an asteroid that collided with earth....yet both the earth and the moon are strangely almost perfect in roundness...
