NASA has a new "inconvenient truth" for Global warming proponents...will it make a difference?

so this somehow excuses the way we treat the environment? Is the debate about global warming or us being irresponsible with our natural resources and our natural environment? Isn't that what the global warming was supposed to be about anyways? Don't you think this debate just takes the focus off of the real issues?
