Does my friend still care about our friendship (PLEASE READ)?

I'm glad you found your old friend and I'm sorry that things didn't go as you might of expected. I'm being honest by saying don't forget about him but maybe you shouldn't try to still be his friend. I mean he's not really being honest to you and he isn't trying to be a friend to you right now. I could be wrong but I would try to leave it there, like if he wants to actually try to become friends you might want to be friends again but right now I think your a friend but he isn't. I'm sorry I hope things come out o.k.
